I read today that Stephen Hawking is very ill in hospital. I really hope that he's okay. I was wondering today why he hasn't been knighted. Patrick Moore is knighted and if you ask me, Stephen Hawking has done more for science than Patrick Moore.
Maybe it's just me, but the man really deserves to be recognised more for his achievements. He's a genuis. On the preview of the Ricky Gervais Guide To... The English, the question about great Britons was posed. They came to the conclusion that they couldn't really think of anyone living who is a great Briton. They said that it's all people like David Beckham now.
I'm sorry but, Stephen Hawking is a great Briton. We should be proud of him. Richard Attenburgh is another great Briton. Just because they aren't dead doesn't mean that they can't be great.
